What is the best time of the year to stay at Eden Wilds?
We welcome guests year-round. No matter the season, Eden Wilds promises an unforgettable escape into nature’s beauty, with each time of year offering something unique to explore and enjoy.
Step into a snow-covered wonderland in winter, where the crisp air and lack of light pollution create exceptional stargazing conditions. In spring, brilliant wildflowers burst into bloom, casting a vibrant palette across the meadows while the mountain peaks remain blanketed in powdery white. Long sunlit summer evenings set the stage for memorable BBQ gatherings on the Guest House deck, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, while warmer temperatures invite more outdoor adventures. Fall is renowned for its spectacular display of fiery red, orange, and gold foliage, transforming the landscape into a natural masterpiece.

How do I get to Eden Wilds?
Tucked into the foothills of the Southern Canadian Rockies, Eden Wilds sits beside Beauvais Lake Provincial Park, in the quiet Municipal District of Pincher Creek No. 9, Alberta. Though it feels worlds away, it’s closer than you might think—just under a 3-hour drive from Calgary International Airport (YYC), less than 2 hours from Lethbridge Regional Airport (YQL), and only 35 minutes from the Pincher Creek Community Runway (CZPC).
At an elevation of 1,400 metres, we recommend a 4WD vehicle for road access. For a more scenic arrival, private helicopter transfers are also possible. Full directions and access details are provided upon booking confirmation.

What is your pet policy?
Pets are not allowed. We understand that pets are beloved members of many families, but to accommodate everyone, we operate a strict no pets policy.
-
Why do we need to sign liability waivers?
Eden Wilds is located in a backcountry area and contains important habitat for many species. Natural hazards from weather, rough terrain, and wildlife may occur. It is important that you be aware of the level of risk associated with staying and participating in activities at Eden Wilds. For the safety and understanding of all guests and as a condition of acceptance to Eden Wilds, each guest must complete and sign a release of liability waiver ahead of arrival. A parent or a legal guardian must sign the waiver on behalf of any stay participants under 19 years of age. Please be sure to read through the Release of Liability Waiver in full prior to booking. It entails an assumption of risks as well as a waiver of claims and indemnity.
-
Do you have Wi-Fi?
The Guest House and the Pool Pavilion are both equipped with high-speed wireless networks. Cell service is variable. Switching on Wi-Fi-assisted calling will ensure you stay connected. And when you’re out exploring the beautiful property grounds, feel free to use the provided walkie-talkies to communicate with your group.
-
How do we order groceries?
We offer a personal grocery shopping service to ensure the Guest House kitchen is fully stocked with your selection of fresh groceries, gourmet treats, pantry staples, soft drinks, and your favourite wines or spirits, allowing you to unwind from the moment you arrive at Eden Wilds. Simply complete the grocery order form online (the link will be provided in your booking confirmation) and submit it at least 48 hours in advance. If you need additional items during your stay, whether a few essentials or a full restock, just let us know, and we’ll take care of the rest. A service fee applies, plus the cost of groceries.

Do we need travel insurance?
We strongly suggest that all guests ensure they have adequate cancellation and travel insurance prior to booking. While we certainly do our best to support our guests who find themselves in unforeseen circumstances, as we only host one group at a time our cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Also, Eden Wilds is located in a backcountry area where natural hazards from weather, rough terrain, and wildlife may occur. This is why cancellation and travel insurance should be an integral part of your trip planning.
