Eden Wilds lies in the heart of the region celebrated by National Geographic as The Crown of the Continent, renowned for its pristine wilderness, breathtaking sceneries and remarkable biodiversity.
Established in 1972 as a working ranch and still home to a small cattle operation, Eden Wilds remains a vibrant ecosystem where nature thrives. Bordered by Beauvais Lake Provincial Park to the north and Castle Wildland Provincial Park to the south, part of the land is also safeguarded by the Nature Conservancy of Canada, ensuring its natural beauty endures for generations to come.
THE GUEST HOUSE
The Guest House is a cedar-wood chalet that seamlessly blends traditional ranch design with luxurious modern amenities. Offering uninterrupted views of the Southern Rockies, this elegant residence combines sleek surfaces, contemporary furnishings, and warm wood accents to create a timelessly sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere.
Designed to comfortably host up to eight guests plus two young children, the Guest House boasts two king suites, each with a cozy reading nook and en-suite bathroom, a queen bedroom that opens onto a covered patio, and a fourth bedroom with twin beds that can be converted into a king. Guests will also appreciate the spacious family bathroom with dual sinks, an additional shower room, and a convenient powder room. For families traveling with little ones, the thoughtfully appointed nursery offers one or two wooden cribs (as needed), a rocking chair, and a changing table.
THE POOL PAVILION
A short stroll from the Guest House, the Pool Pavilion stands as one of Eden Wilds’ signature features. With soaring double-height ceilings, warm cedar wood walls, and sleek cement flooring encircling the 32-by-16-foot heated indoor pool, this refined pavilion invites you to immerse yourself in unparalleled relaxation and recreation.
The pool is heated to a perfect 28°C (82°F), with a depth ranging from 3 feet 4 inches (1 meter) at the shallow end by the steps to 5 feet (1.5 meters) at the deep end. High-speed WiFi is also available inside the pavilion.
THE PRIVATE TRAILS
Guests are invited to explore Eden Wilds’ beauty along the 4.2 miles of marked hiking trails, where every step unveils untouched wilderness and frames a picture-perfect scene. Each trail forms a loop, winding through alpine meadows and aspen groves before ascending to ridge-top viewpoints that offer panoramic vistas of rugged peaks and vast horizons.
Hiking equipment – including trekking poles, adult snow crampons, kid snowshoes, backpack picnic sets, walkie-talkies, explorer first aid kit and bear spray – is available for complimentary use.
